The first registrations have been received. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our guests to the Netherlands. Click on the button ‘Explore program’ to find the registrationform and be one of them!

The costs

The Netherlands is an expensive country. We have now calculated the prices based on the actual costs. We are busy eliminating parts and making prices more attractive. If you register, we will not yet invoice you. We're waiting until we can give lower prices.

The EUDEC board will make a proposal to compensate students for the costs.

Speakers

One of the cost items are the (international) speakers. We intend to ask people from the schools to speak. There is so much wisdom and good examples in our own schools. Rarely is a (former) student a speaker at a EUDEC meeting.

Above all, let us listen to each other and inspire each other.

Event location De Ruimte Soest

The EUDEC will be happening at location www.deruimtesoest.nl (see the photo’s). And since we have a wonderful premise and beautiful forest and sand-dunes surrounding it is perfectly fit for this cause.

Hello dear dear EUDEC Friends,
We are working hard behind the scenes to make it possible for all of us to join EUDEC 2024. Therefore we’ve skipped some fancy attributes and go back to basics with this beautiful event. The volunteers are lining up to make the premise beautiful fit for our congres.
We are looking forward to mix and meet again.
We realize there are many beautiful things going on throughout the year and nearly the same time. Poland with their wonderful national yearly event, StuDec and Convention in Germany, IDEC in Taiwan one week before the EUDEC and then not to forget the Summer Holidays!
So everybody has to make choices.
Maybe it helps when we say from experience that EUDEC feels as holy-days, energizing by inspiration and meeting our European friends;) What we really want to ask is, to choose soon and let us know you are coming or not coming. Click here to register right away.
For us as organizers it is crucial to know because of reservations we can hold till beginning of april !
(And when nobody is coming we can cancel the whole thing. Which we truly hope not ……)

The area of Soest

Bikes will be available to go on adventure in our natural neighbourhood.
CAMPING & HOTELS
We can host 50 2-person tents on the premise.
We found a hostel nearby (10 minutes walk) to stay. The hostel wil have 4 person rooms and 6 person rooms. (50 beds)
The available Hotels will be 2 person bedrooms and can be reached by car.

We are working on nearby Scouting Sites to stay but we do not have confirmation yet.
We have own parking space at our school.
THE PROGRAM
What are we going to do?
We are going to talk, to play and to stay with each other. Looking and listening to inspirational movies, lectures, work-shops and online presentations. We want to talk about the future of EUDEC. To dive into subjects as; Children Rights and walk the talk. How to create Happy schools, happy students happy teachers, different types of democratic decision making, holacracy as an organization tool, NVC and other mediaton tools to learn to solve our beautiful and interesting conflicts.
Of course there will be open space for our own inspirations and contribution.
Listen to music, dance, eat, drink and relax together.
Going for a natural bike tour and visit beautiful medieval Amersfoort or Amsterdam.
